This adventure has all the bells and whistles!
As well as cycling we’ll be doing the Treetops Walk, the Scenic Waterways Eco Boat trip, the day trip to Punakaiki and the Paparoa Track, free beer tasting at Monteiths in Greymouth and some other freebies as well. The price includes pretty much everything including the upgrade to e bikes! From Ross to Greymouth on the wild west coast of the South Island, this 132km cycle trail takes you through a land rich with history of the pioneers, early settlers and gold diggers who first settled here. As a Grade 2 cycle trail it is suitable for most age groups, is mostly flat with gentle climbs and on a firm surface. At the end of the cycle trail we stay the night in Greymouth before our day trip to Punakaiki and a 3 hr walk on The Paparoa Track. This track was created as a memorial for the 29 miners who lost lives in the Pike River Mine disaster. A detailed itinerary and gear list will be sent out.
