Description
The Cavalli Islands are known as one of THE best kayaking locations in New Zealand. Tara Mulvany, who is the first woman to kayak the South Island, Stewart Island and the North Island, described it as “Aotearoa’s best sea kayaking location.” Join us on this guided kayaking adventure as we explore these islands with their amazing rock gardens, their many caves and tunnels and the golden sandy beaches.
We’ll be setting up our base on Motukawanui Island at the DOC hut. There will also be opportunity for fishing, Trevally is abundant in this area, and we’ll be able to do some night time kiwi spotting. We’ll be stopping and exploring some of the other islands too.
Price includes 1 night’s accommodation in Kerikeri, camping gear and fees, meals on the kayaking trip, kayaking gear and guide. A detailed itinerary and Gear List will be sent out.
